Sorry I didn..t get back personally to a lot of mails. But time has been running so fast all summer long. This summer was filled up with lots of work and interessting projects:
I..ve been to the UK twice. I played the Maryport Blues Festival and a string of gigs in Scotland. I drank too much beer nd made a lot of new friends!!!! :)
In between, I was involved in a theatre workshop in Worms. I worked with a group of kids to help them to write, arrange and practice some music for two theatre plays, that were performed in mid august. More infos: http://www.nibelungenhorde.de
Off and on I played some local gigs around my hometown and in the Mannheim area. Some solo, some with different bands and some with my old band Cozmic Soul. Infos under: http://www.myspace.com/cozmicsoul
In late July Richie Arndt and Gregor Hilden visited me at my house. Within three days we recorded a whole album at my studio "The vineyard recorders", just with three accoustic guitars and vocals. It was like back in the old days. We..ve been sitting in one room and cut twelve tracks without any overdubs. We had a real blast and the air was filled with nothing but music and inspiration. The album will be released at the end of the year, and we..ll play a brief tour in December and January.

In between I..ve also spent time to cut tracks down for the next Timo Goss Album. It..s a live album, that we..ve recorded in mid may in Baden Baden. It will present an overview of my last three albums, but it..ll be rougher and wilder than the studio productions :) - I told you I am a wild guy:) After I saw the pictures of the evening, I knew the title must be "Road worn" Look out for that!!! Hopefully it will be out at the end of the year or early next year!!!!
After all that poor weather this summer, it got hot again and so I had a real hot time in France, where I was the musical coach for a workshop called "Europe Rocks". This workshop brought together five bands from five european countries. After their arrival they were mixed , to form five new bands!!!! And they were suposed to write some new songs in these fresh combinations. I was totally surprised, how good this thing worked. Some of the bands created some outstanding fresh art and the guys and girls rocked like hell!!! Funnily they didn..t just come from different countries, but also from totally different genres like punk, power pop, classic rock and art rock!!!! Young guys and girls with hot energy and a real attitude!!!! I..m proud, I was a part of it!!!
